Moments of being

Past is eternally gone, dead, like the day fades into the night
Future may never come, when its time to join the light
Happiness is just this moment –
The moment as you are aware of the sun
No matter, whether full of laughter or bereavement…
The present becomes the past, dead;
With a mere blink of the eyes, you no longer are aware…
Of your being – as you become the light.
With no baggage – just your weightless, unburdened spirit
No matter if you are rich or poor, large or small,
Choiceless you are, but to leave all there was behind…
When it is your time to say the final Goodbye…
